Sara Swezy, LPC Associate
Supervised by Amanda Sieg, LPC-S and Stephanie Dall, LPC-S
Sara Swezy is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Development from Lamar University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Multicultural Education. With over 15 years of experience in education, Sara brings a deep understanding of child development, family dynamics, and the emotional and social challenges that many children and teens face today.
Sara is passionate about walking alongside adolescents, young adults, and their families as they work through anxiety, ADHD, body image concerns, peer pressure, and relationship struggles. She also supports clients navigating major life transitions and building resilience in the face of change. Her years in the classroom have given her valuable insight into the academic, social, and emotional pressures students experience, and she draws on that experience to help clients grow in confidence, clarity, and self-awareness.
Sara takes a client-centered and collaborative approach to counseling, meeting each person with empathy, respect, and curiosity. Whether working with a teen trying to find their voice, a young adult adjusting to life changes, or a family seeking better communication, her goal is to offer both emotional support and practical strategies that lead to meaningful, lasting progress.
Sara strives to create a warm, welcoming space where clients feel safe to be themselves and empowered to take the next step forward. She believes healing happens when we feel seen, heard, and valued—and that growth is possible for anyone with the right support.
